WordCamp Larissa 2024 will take place at the JOIST Innovation Park, a space that fosters knowledge transfer, innovation and development.
The JOIST innovation park is an area of 1,800 sq.m. which is an exemplary model of bioclimatic design and reuse of an industrial building. Environmentally friendly recycled materials were used in its reconstruction. Materials, machines and constructions from the previous life of the building (industrial aluminum production building) were reused in it, with the ultimate aim of reducing the energy footprint of the new construction but also to highlight the industrial heritage of Larissa.
The Innovation Park meets high accessibility requirements as it is fully accessible to people with disabilities, provides ultra-high Internet speeds and covers a large percentage of its energy needs from renewable energy sources (photovoltaic installation). The surrounding area of the building was designed with the aim of creating an open social hub of green neighborhood scale, which promotes social interaction.

Car, motorbike or bicycle
The main entrance of the building is from the side street of Karamanlis Avenue, following the relevant signs.
Specifically, from Konstantinou Karamanli avenue you will head towards the roundabout and take the exit towards Tripoleos street. Then, head left onto the side street of Karamanli Avenue.
In the forecourt of the JOIST Innovation Park there are bicycle parking spaces, where you can lock your bicycle during the visit.

Arriving at Larissa Railway Station, head to Paleologou Street and then to Sapphos Street. Then you will turn right on Volou Street and head towards Tripoleos Street.
